What type of aircraft does Advance Aviation fly? |

Our first aircraft based in Bangkok is brand New EC-135. It has two powerful and reliable Pratt and Whitney turbine engines which provide outstanding performance and vital power reserves even in one-engine-inoperative scenarios. Second helicopter, based in Phuket is EC-130, also brand new. It incorporates latest technology, including Fenestron tail rotor. Latest addition to our fleet is another brand new EC-130 stationing in Chiangmai (north of Thailand). All our helicopters are in VIP configurations. One EC-135 and one EC-130 are due to be in service in the second half of 2011.

What should I expect on AA's helicopter flight? |
|

Advance Aviation prides itself in being the only true "VIP" helicopter operator in Thailand. Guests will be treated to the sumptuous interior of our helicopter, as well as personal touch from our well-trained staff. Our EC 135 is equipped with 7 leather seats including two pilots'. Our welcome host who is waiting at the gate of your international arrival flight will breeze you through the immigration and custom clearance. Our VIP lounge is located just minutes away from Suvannabhumi International airport.

How large is the storage compartment for my luggage? |
|
|
EC-135, unlike other executive helicopter, has unconventional clam-shell cargo doors which enable passengers to travel with more luggages or even golf bags. It has almost 40 cubic feet of a single storage area. With full passenger load and full fuel tank, it can take up to 350 kgs. in storage compartment.

How many passengers can be seated in AA's helicopter? |
|
|
AA helicopters are fully air-conditioned and equipped with BoseŽ noise cancellation headsets in each seat that make your ride tranquil and allow you to talk to each other with ease and comfort. Passengers compartment is fully carpeted and each seat is sumptuously upholstered by leather.
- Bangkok Based EC-135: Plush interior first class compartment is configured for 5 VIP seats for passengers' best comfort.
- Phuket Based EC-130: There are 6 Comfort leather seats with panoramic glass window in elevated theatre style seats

How safe is your helicopter? |
|
|
We have opted to buy brand NEW aircrafts that integrate Eurocopter's latest technologies and design. Not only that we operate our fleet by over 25 years of experienced pilots, accumulated over 6,000 flights hours, who had gone through Eurocopter's vigorous training program, but also our aircrafts are maintained daily by highly professional personnels in the facility that Eurcopter specially set up in Thailand to ensure maximum maintenance standard. Though our EC 135 is officially certified for single pilot operation, we usually assign 2 pilots to navigate you to your destination.

What happens if the weather is bad? |
|
|
Our pilot and dispatcher dutily assess the weather forecast to determine the safe flight. Should the flight is postponed in the interest of passengers' safety/enjoyment, we shall offer to reschedule the alternative date and time to suit your desire. In case that it is not possible to satisfy you, full refund will be given.

What happens if I need to cancel my booking flight? |
|
|
There will be no charge if you cancel your reservation 72 hours prior to the scheduled mission time. Cancellation between 1 and 72 hours before the scheduled mission time, a fee of 43,750 THB will be applied. Cancellation shorter than 1 hour before the scheduled mission time or no show, full amount as indicated in the agreed quotation will be charged.

What if I want to delay my pick-up time? |
|
|
Re-schedule is accepted without charge 24 hours prior to scheduled mission time. A fee of 17,500 THB will applied if request for the reschedule is received between 30 minutes and 24 hours prior to the scheduled mission time. Rescheduled itinerary must be within 30 days from the original mission date.
Delay of a total mission time, which is caused by extended waiting time, is allowed up to 15 minutes without penalty. Delay penalty of 2,625 THB/15 minutes will be applied when the delay exceed the allowable time.

Can I use my mobile and laptop in flight? |
|
|
Laptop and mobile are allowed on board, but are restricted to use during take off and landing. However, Captain may from to time request your compliance to refrain the usage during the flight.

What regulations cover the flight? |
|
|
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is in charge of public safety for aviation. They monitor companies who hold Air Operator's Certificate. This allows a company to fly members of the public. This means that you are covered by the same insurance with our company as if flying with a major plane operator such as British Airways, Singapore Airlines, etc.

What are the special services provided? |
|
|
Special Services such as armored car, police escort and motorcade arrrangement can be effectively arranged with relevant authorities for qualified VIP and dignitaries. Exclusive hideaway, such as private villa or retreat can also be liaised for your ultimate private holidays. We also have strong colaboration with Minor Aviation for private jet charter, and good connection with high-end golf courses and resorts and spa.

Where can I land in and around Bangkok? |
|
|
We are able to pick you up from over 20 helipad sites in Bangkok and drop you off over 100 more landing sites in Thailand. Kindly inform us your destination and we will get back to you with the nearest helipad location. If you need further information on location/direction, please click map of Bangkok and Thailand here. Should your destination does not have any helipad near by, it is possible for us to arrange a temporary landing permit at a minimal fee privided that we are able to submit the request to the relevant authority 30 days in advance. Final approval is completely up to the authority.
